YEAR 8 boys and girls from Pershore High School dominated this year's district hockey tournament.
Three matches were played with the boys beating Blackminster and Witton Schools thanks to the goalscoring efforts of Richard Elmsley and Alex Griffiths who found the net five times in the success.
The girls also enjoyed enormous success in all their matches as they were crowned overall winners with captain Sam Yarnold and Hannah Bainbridge netting the bulk of the goals.
Both teams will now go to represent the district in the Wychavon Youth Games on Sunday, May 22.
