ERNEST Alfred Gazard, draughtsman, Walkwood Road, Hunt End, applied for a certificate of exemption from objections to vaccinations in respect of his child.

Asked as to his objections to vaccinations, he said three years ago he was vaccinated and his health had never been the same since.

The chairman: "You don't look very bad."

Applicant: "I have been very bad."

Chairman: "In what way? You don't look as if you have had fever or erysipelas."

Applicant said he objected to vaccinations.

The certificate was granted.
