UNION Jack flags will be waving to the sound of nostalgic tunes at the Norbury Theatre during Droitwich's celebrations of the 60th anniversary of VE Day.
Players from the Friar Street venue will stage And A Nightingale Sang for four nights from Wednesday, May 4.
The moving and heart-warming production will mark 60 years since Victory in Europe was declared after the Second World War.
Set in the North East in years between the outbreak of war and VE Day, the show follows the main events, from the first sirens to the eventual celebrations, as seen through the eyes of a gutsy Tyneside family.
Old favourites I'll Be Seeing You Again, The White Cliffs of Dover and And a Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square will keep the patriotic audience happy.
