POLICE are appealing for information about an assault in which a 16-year-old youth suffered a suspected fractured cheekbone and bruising.
The boy was walking along Evesham Road, near Hardings Garage, at about 10.15am on Tuesday, April 12, when a blue Vauxhall car pulled up.
Pc Andy Jones said: "The driver, a white man in his mid-30s, chased him down the road and grabbed him by the throat. He punched the boy and ran off."
Witnesses should call the police on 08457 444888.
