MAXIMUS, the mascot of Worcester Rugby Club will be made an honorary member of a rugby charity this weekend to help raise funds for young people who are disadvantaged.
At the Worcester v Saracens rugby match at Sixways tomorrow, John Gibson, the area representative for the charity, will officially welcome the Warriors' mascot.
Maximus has been set the task of raising £5,000 this year, and whatever he raises, Wooden Spoon have pledged to match, and the money will go towards helping disadvantaged youths in the city.
Every mascot in the premiership is involved, raising money for their local area.
