CRAFTS, music, theatre and comedy are all in store for children in Worcestershire this Easter in a bid to stave off boredom.

Youngsters are being invited to attend Number 8, in Pershore's High Street, for a host of activities and fun.

Today, artist Sarah Stanley will be making felt animal faces with eight to 12 year olds at the centre, from 1.30pm to 4pm, and tickets cost £5.

"In just a couple of hours you shall be amazed at what you can create," said a spokeswoman for the organisation.

"Bring your favourite animal's face to life with beautiful, soft and vibrant merino wool and then take your masterpiece home to treasure forever."

Number 8 will also have stage the puppet show Burglar Bill, performed by Pandora's Box Theatre Company.

The show is only on for one afternoon on Tuesday, March 29, at 2pm so availability is limited. All Tickets are £4.

The centre is also screening the film Shark Tale (U) on Thursday, March 31, and Wednesday, April 1, at 2.30pm.

Street dance lessons will also be on offer with professional dancer Jenny Dunn for those aged 13 and over.
