ONE of UK's greatest interpreters of American 20th Century composers Wayne Marshall will star in next month's Hagley Parish Music Festival.
Marshall will perform some of the well-known music of Gershwin and Cole Porter at St John's Church, in Hagley. Distinguished violinist, Tasmin Little, will join him in an evening concert which will include Kreisler, Praeludium and Allegro, Bach's Sonata in B minor, Prokefiev's Sonata in D major and Grieg's Sonata in G major.
They are both highly regarded on the international music circuits and organisers hope their collaboration at the concert will give new prominence to the Festival.
The festival runs from Wednesday, April 20, until Sunday, April 24. To book tickets call 01562 884216.
