MY father served in the Eighth Worcestershire Regiment and the Machine Gun Corps during 1915 to 1919 and I have just discovered this from a diary he had written during his time while in the Army.
The reason I am writing to you is that during his training he was billeted with a Mrs Cowley in Hampden Road.
I believe the number was either 20 or 30 and I would like to know if the house is still there.
