IF Cardinal Cormac Murphy-O'Connor wishes to bring faith and religion into a British General Election, in the American style, one hopes that he will bear in mind the Biblical exhortations, "Love Thy Neighbour" and "Do unto others, as you would, they should do unto you."
Therefore, he should call for more overseas aid to Sub-Saharan Africa.
Also, he should call for UK pensions to be tied to the wages index instead of the cost of living index. However, abortions can never be part of the political scene in this country. All women must be free to live their lives as they wish.
