THE coroner involved in the death of Rachel Whitear is still deciding whether to reopen the inquest into the drug death of the 21-year-old.
Rachel's body was exhumed a year ago after her mother and stepfather, Pauline and Mick Holcroft voiced concerns about the way Devon and Cornwall Police handled the investigation into the tragedy.
A spokesperson for Devonshire Coroner Dr Elizabeth Earland said she was still considering the file. The first inquest rec-orded an open verdict after it found there was not enough heroin in her body to have killed her.
The Herefordshire student was found dead at her Exmouth flat in May 2000.
