BROADWAY'S one stop shop service has been scrapped by Wychavon District Council because of lack of interest.
The service, which was held in the village library on Wednesday mornings, has been running for the past two years. The council found only one or two people were using the facility on a regular basis so it will end on Friday, April 1. Broadway residents unable to access Evesham's Community Contact Centre on Abbey Road should contact staff to make alternative arrangements. People with special needs could be eligible for home visits.
