MANOR Park Squash Club's first team have gained promotion to division one of the Worcestershire League after becoming division two champions.
The team also played in the final of the Worcestershire Cup Plate competition on Monday night and defeated visiting Droitwich first team, the division two runners-up, 5-0.
The results were: Adam Curry won 3-1 (9/1 9/2 5/9 9/5), Keith Young won 3-2 (9/4 9/1 0/9 4/9 9/1), Dave Arnold won 3-1 (7/9 9/4 9/3 9/2), Martin Hollingworth won 3-1 (9/2 4/9 9/7 9/0) and Adam Oakley won 3-0 (9/2 10/8 9/5).
