SAM McDonald played a prominent role in England Under-18's 21-3 win over Romania in their opening match of the AER Champ-ionships in St Quentin, France last Sunday.
Lock McDonald of RGS Worcester and Worcester Warriors, who lives in Evesham, gave England the initiative by driving over for their first try from the front of a line-out.
McDonald represented the North Midlands in the Midlands 18-Group Championship last autumn and the Midlands in the Under-18 Divisional Festival in December.
