OVERBURY CC start their defence of the Cotswold Hills League crown in May when they will also have a team in Division Three.

The key to future success will be the continuing emergence of talented players who played such a big part last summer.

It has long been a tradition that Overbury start coaching players at an early age and the club has junior teams entered in the league in three different age groups - Under-12, 14 and 16.

Their title triumph was testament that this route to senior cricket has worked well, with no fewer than seven players having come through the junior ranks.

If you are a junior under 16 and interested in joining a friendly and successful village club with excellent facilities, then why not come along to Overbury to the enrolment and first night of coaching on Friday, April 15.
