THE March meeting of the club was also the annual meeting. This was followed by a talk from Sheila Hodges on the history and work of the Rose Theatre, named after the founder, Kenneth Rose. There was audience participation when Sheila directed an impromptu enactment, complete with sound effects, of the witches' scene from Macbeth.
The lunch venue for April 5 is The Honeybee at Doverdale. Meet at 12noon for 12.30pm.
On April 19 Christine Patterson will describe her work as a TV extra. Meet in Trinity Church Centre at 2pm.
