HEREFORD United manager Graham Turner has drafted in two new loan signings ahead of tomorrow's Conference clash at Farnborough Town.

Young duo Daryl Taylor and Leroy Williams both arrive at Edgar Street for the rest of the season from Coca Cola League One Walsall.

Creative midfielder Taylor, 20, scored in each of his first three senior appearances for the Saddlers, but has since been in and out of Paul Merson's side.

Teenage striker Williams, 18, has started two League games for Walsall this term and came off the bench on a further eight occasions. The hope is that the pair will give the Bulls fresh impetus as they strive to make the play-offs.

United slipped to their first league loss in seven outings when they crashed 2-1 to Morecambe on Tuesday night. Despite taking the lead, defensive mistakes eventually led to defeat in North Lancashire and set United back in their fight to earn a play-off place.

But Hereford have the opportunity to put things right at Cherrywood Road as they aim to hit the winning trail with nine games to go.

United coach John Trewick said: "We played well at Morecambe, but again, we have been the architects of our own downfall with individual mistakes and they are costing us.

"We've got to get on with it and hopefully put it right against Farnborough. We need a positive response and I'm sure we'll get that. We've also got Northwich Victoria on Monday and if we can get six points out of six from these two games, it puts us back on track."

Tamika Mkandawire is set to return in defence after missing out at Morecambe with 'flu, but there are doubts over the fitness of full-backs Ryan Green and Simon Travis.
