HOW grateful I am that I live in a town where so many talented people are capable of writing, composing, directing, conducting, singing and acting in such a professional manner as seen by so many in the world premiere of It's a Mystery. All concerned are to be thanked and praised.
Once it is revised, and possibly shortened, I can see it being produced in parishes across the country where the eternal truths of love and judgement as portrayed by Christ in the Gospels may be better appreciated than by the reviewer in your paper last week.
The judgement scenes in mystery plays through the ages have often jarred with the modern setting and that is one of the challenges presented by such plays. It's a Mystery was in keeping with its genre.
