WEST Malvern entertained Inkberrow on Saturday for the fourth time this season and the game finished 4-4 which now means that honours are even with one win each and two draws.

West Malvern took up the early challenge and were in front inside 15 minutes. A ball went back to the keeper and his clearance was charged down by Mitchell Probert, who rolled the ball into the empty net.

Inkberrow came back and within ten minutes had levelled the score. Poor marking from a corner allowed the Inkberrow defender in to head home.

West Malvern pushed forward again and after 35 minutes were back in front. This time good work by Dougie Hawes let in Ken McEwan, who drove the ball home from 20 yards.

West Malvern's lead was short-lived and on 40 minutes once again Inkberrow scored from a corner.

The second half saw West Malvern put pressure on again but two defensive mistakes allowed Inkberrow to go 4-2 in front.

West Malvern came back strongly and after 70 minutes a goal- mouth scramble resulted in Dougie Hawes pushing the ball home.

West Malvern threw men forward in an attempt to salvage a point and with time running out Graeme Maclennan scored in the 85th minute to level the scores.

Both sides are to be complimented on an entertaining game.
