PROLIFIC striker Shaun Goater is among Coventry City's first team stars set to feature in Carl Heeley's testimonial match at St George's Lane tonight (7.45).
Former Manchester City, Rotherham and Bristol City marksman Goater, who boasts an impressive scoring record of 210 Football League goals in 438 starts, joined the Championship side on loan yesterday.
Coventry manager Micky Adams is expected to hand 35-year-old Goater his first appearance in a Sky Blues shirt, along with fellow new loan signing Lloyd Dyer.
The Highfield Road club are without a fixture over Easter and several rec-ognised names will play in the game celebrating Worcester City captain Heeley, who has played 515 games for the club over an 11-year period.
Defender
Long-serving defender Richard Shaw, a former team-mate of Worcester City player-manager Andy Preece during their time at Crystal Palace, will figure at the Lane, along with ex-Birmingham City striker Dele Adebola and former Arsenal midfielder Stephen Hughes.
Former Aston Villa and Republic of Ireland full-back Steve Staunton and Welsh international Adie Williams are also expected to be among the squad.
Barring injuries to teenage defender Shabir Khan (groin) and long-term victim Christian Moore (knee), Preece has a fully-fit squad to pick from.
Several of City's fringe players are likely to get a chance to impress at some point.
