A GO-GETTING grandad's high-flying antics are on course to raise more than £4,000 for Acorns Children's Hospice.
Bob Eaton successfully completed a tandem parachute jump from 15,000ft in Shropshire on Saturday, watched by family and friends.
The 66-year-old retired civil engineer from Bewdley, who has already raised around £14,500 for the children's charity in memory of his youngest son Dave who was killed in a motorbike accident in 1999, said it was a great experience.
"Someone said I'm brave to have done it," he told the Worcester News.
"But the brave people are the families and their kids who are life-limited and who face it with courage and strength.
"They need support so give to Acorns."
