This week's Good Friday service at St James the Great, Cradley, will be at 7pm, with Cradley and Colwall church choirs performing Faure's Requiem along with Cradley Singers. The soprano will be sung by Connie Holden and the baritone by Tim Cranmore, with Mary Baron as organist. Direction is by Stefan Scot. Everyone is very welcome to come along.
The Royal British Legion in Cradley will be the venue for a quiz night in aid of Cradley Evergreen Club. Doors open at 8.30pm and tickets are £5 for teams of four. There will also be a bar available.
Cradley WI will be meeting at Cradley Village Hall on Thursday, April 7, at 7.30pm. The speaker will be Janet Rowland, with a talk entitled Roses and Castles on canal history.
Saturday, April 9, will see a car boot sale at Knight's Cider Shop in Storridge, beginning at 9am. The event is in aid of Cats' Protection.
