SHOPPERS in Kidderminster's Swan Centre were treated to Irish dancing and music to celebrate St Patrick's Day.
Crossey Irish Dance Troupe, which is made up of 25 dancers from Wolverley High School and St Ambrose Primary School, performed 40 minutes of Irish style-dancing for visitors.
They were accompanied by live music from Wolverley High School's Irish band, which included accordion players.
Dance coach, Eileen Crossey, who runs the group and is head of maths at Wolverley High School, said their performance was well received. "It was absolutely fantastic and a lot of people watched them," she said.
"They get a real buzz from it and they love performing, especially when they can see so many other people enjoying it. "
She has been coaching the group for two years in Kidderminster and for five years in Droitwich.
The children, who are aged from six to 16, rehearse at Wolverley High School on a Monday evening and St Ambrose Primary School on a Thursday evening.
They have also performed at charity Irish nights held in Stourport and Worcester and Miss Crossey said the children were keen to perform at more local events.
Anyone looking for entertainment for their functions can contact the school on 01562 859800.
