OLD curtains, tights and a baked bean tin were among the materials used by entrants in a recycling competition.
Organised by Anne Cook, a member of Worcester United Reformed Church, Albany Terrace, it attracted a range of entries including rugs, napkins, placemats and a pen holder.
Winner was Margaret Morgan, with a rug incorporating tights and a woollen blanket, while the young people's prize went to Hannah Ferry.
The judge was Malvern knitwear designer Clare Tough, whose work inspired the competition.
"I read she made her original designs by assembling old woollens from charity shops and I thought it was a good idea to copy," said Mrs Cook.
