Evesham Ladies 1, Worcester Norton III 0
A SOLITARY strike from Amy Miller was enough to help Saturday's hosts to victory over their county rivals.
The midfielder fired home the winner five minutes from time after a skilful drive and pass from Ness Dufty.
Evesham started in bright mood with midfielders Rhian Fuge, Tash Kuiper, Katy Robinson and Helena Barker playing positively.
However, the hosts failed to make the most of several chances that came their way with Alice Cook coming closest when she struck a post.
Several short corners also failed to break the deadlock but spirits were still high as the second half got under way despite Norton posing more of an attacking threat.
Emma Scott, Jude Taylor and Sam Witheford were in solid mood at the back and their efforts kept the scoreline blank until Miller struck a deserved winner to end the season on a winning note.
