WORCESTER Rugby Club were once again well represented as England women saw off Scotland 22-10 in a gritty Twickenham clash.

Jo Yapp skippered the side while Kim Shaylor bagged a couple of tries to keep her impressive scoring record going at international level.

England's four tries came from Shaylor, Yapp and fly-half Karen Andrew.

Shaylor has been England's leading try and points scorer in this year's Six Nations, scoring nine tries in the five games.

She also leads the Six Nations overall try scoring table. A modest Shaylor put her successes down to the efforts of the whole team:

"I have just been in the right place at the right time.

"Playing on the wing you tend to get more try scoring opportunities and thankfully I have managed to convert some of them."

Worcester's Lois Moulding also enjoyed some time on the field after coming on as a blood replacement.

"Scotland played very well and gave us a really hard game," said head coach Geoff Richards.

"They defended magnificently and put us under a lot of pressure. The first-half was a bit of a stop-start affair and at times we were a bit sloppy, but I thought we stuck to our game plan and in the end we are pleased with a win against a very good Scotland team."
