PUPILS will be able to blow their school's trumpet thanks to a Rotary Club donation of brass instruments.
The South Worcester Branch brought the baritone horn, a trumpet and two cornets for Stanley Road Primary School, off Wyld's Lane.
The school wants to add a brass section to its orchestra.
Rotary Club member, Geoffrey Elliott, said it was part of the Music for Youth scheme, which he started in 1981.
"Since the scheme was established, the Rotary Club has given 88 instruments away.
"It provides instruments for children which otherwise parents couldn't afford," said Mr Elliott, himself a piano player.
The instruments - worth around £1,200 - were formally handed over to the school on Wednesday, February 9.
