COMPANIES in Herefordshire and Worcestershire are being sought to take part in a series of BBC business programmes.
The BBC Business Unit, which produces such shows as The Money Programme, Back to the Floor and I'll Show Them Who's Boss, is looking for firms to be involved in its new shows.
"Essentially, I'm looking for businesses that have some difficulty or intractable problem that our consultant can help solve," said producer Simon Winchcombe.
"The type of problems I really hope to look at are ones of operation and the day-to-day running of the company rather than discussions about next year's business strategy.
"In terms of the company, I'm not too concerned about the business they are in, but I do think that small to medium size companies (25-100 employees) may be most suitable.
"Perhaps most importantly though, the company I'm looking for should have some big personalities."
For the company involved there would be clear benefits of free consulting and hopefully a better-run company.
"However, it's also clear that they would be allowing cameras into the workplace and that a relationship between us would need to be established," added Mr Winchcombe.
