KIDDERMINSTER Harriers boss Stuart Watkiss has admitted he cannot blame the Aggborough crowd for getting frustrated in recent weeks.

They have shipped 12 goals in just four Coca-Cola League Two home games and face a crucial visit to bottom-of-the-table Cambridge United today in their relegation battle.

Watkiss has been working on the defensive side of Harriers' game in training in a bid to tighten them up at the back.

He admitted: "The crowd are not silly -- they can see what's going on. They feel frustrated because it is crazy pieces of defending that are costing us goals.

"It's not really about teams having great moves and cutting us open.

"It's every bit as frustrating for us on the touchline and equally it's got to be frustrating for the players.

"If you were to ask them before the game what they'd do in certain situations, they'd all tell you the right thing and the same thing.

"It's okay saying that but it's another thing to actually go and do it."

And Watkiss has warned Harriers against relying on other team's results with the point gap growing.

He added: "We have to make sure our own house is in order before we start looking at other teams."
