A FAMOUS Worcestershire pub is in the running to win a prestigious national title next week after scooping a regional prize in the annual Best Pub Awards.
Licensee Judith Allen, of the Mug House, Claines, will enjoy a glittering night out at The Hilton in London on Thursday, when the national winner of the Morning Advertiser Best Pub Awards will be announced.
The Mug House is one of five regional winners in the final, after being named Central Region's Village Pub of the Year.
"Now I'm hoping to bring home the national award," said Mrs Allen.
