AN artful afternoon will be held in aid of Acorns Children's Hospice Trust.
A collection of art by Worcestershire artists will be exhibited to raise money for the children's charity.
Arts for Acorns, at Powick Village Hall, will include watercolours, paintings and photographs.
Leading Worcester artist David Birtwhistle, from St John's, will open the exhibition on Saturday, November 22, which will run from 2pm until 10pm.
The afternoon will be followed by an evening full of music, poetry and storytelling.
Radio presenter Dave Bradley, of BBC Hereford & Worcester, will be MC for the celebration of music and words that is made up of 13 local acts.
Acorns' Sadie Lewis will speak during the interval and representatives will be available to chat throughout the day.
Entrance to the art exhibition will be £2, while the evening event costs £5.
Eric Payne, a daycentre officer at the Perryfields Centre for learning disabilities, has organised the event. He is hoping to raise £1,000 for the charity, which is building a new £4m hospice in Worcester's Bath Road.
