THERE have been no Division Three wins at Brunton Park for Kidderminster Harriers.

In fact, Harriers have just beaten Carlisle once, 2-1 at Aggborough earlier this season, in seven league meetings.

The Cumbrians are putting up a tremendous fight against relegation under former Wolves winger Paul Simpson after looking dead and buried not so long back.

Just three defeats in the last 12 games has seen confidence rising in Carlisle and they have developed a resilient side.

A 2-1 home defeat to Southend on March 27 appeared to signal the end but Saturday's 2-1 win at Swansea left them just five points behind three rival clubs.

The experience of Simpson, centre-half Kevin Gray and ex-Bury boss Andy Preece in attack has done wonders for them.

Craig Farrell's four goals in the last six games and three from Peter Duffield since signing from Boston have helped massively.

On Monday Harriers host promotion hopefuls Huddersfield who first play Southend on Saturday. They can boast ex-Premiership striker Andy Booth in a strong squad.
