Studley Parish Council is to seek the advice of Mr John Profumo MP for the division on the possibility of obtaining ministry permission for the provision of a pedestrian crossing along what was described by Mr AG Cooke at a previous meeting as "the dangerous mile" between the Barley Mow and Spernal Ash.
This was decided at Tuesday's meeting after the clerk (Mr HS Gardner) had reported that recent inquiries which he had made on the subject gave little hope of such a project being carried through.
