So many people recently lost so much it was felt that we had to do something to provide some relief for the survivors, and once again Pershore people came up trumps.
Many gave of their time and expertise last Saturday to raise almost £1000 for the appeal not least of all the RNA who donated £200 . I hope everyone went away from the Town Hall feeling relaxed through the ministrations of the various therapists, fed and watered thanks to the Throckmorton Ladies, safer thanks to the police marking mobile phones, better looking after having a hair cut and entertained after listening to music by Brasstissimo. Raffle prizes were provided by the Deffort Pathfinders and wonderful flower arrangements and a very taxing quiz by Jan Parsons.
John Alexander representing the Civic Society presented a wonderful selection of bring and buy items. Many thanks to everyone who helped, came and donated.
