Robert George of Kidderminster and Stourport Athletics Club came third overall in the Under-11 boys category at the third meeting of the West Midlands Young Athletes Cross Country League.
This performance helped his team-mates to move into fourth place overall in the competition, with one round remaining.

Results, boys: U-11s - 3rd George, 18th Joe Donkin, 25th Flako Sasz, 32nd Nick Pritchard, 48th David Weale (team placed fourth overall); U-13s - 15th Chris Harler, 28th Craig Baldwin, 45th Jamie Whorton; U-15s - 19th Tom Sparkes, 51st Ian Williams; U-17 men - 9th Aiden Dourneen, 20th Marc Roberts.
