POLICE arrested a man in Acocks Green on suspicion of burglary and robbery following incidents in Wythall and Alvechurch yesterday morning.
The first occurred at about 12.30am in Ann Road, Wythall, when burglars smashed their way through the front door of a house but left empty handed in a green Rover 416.
At 12.40am in Dumble Pit Lane, near Alvechurch, a couple in their red Audi TT were forced to stop by men who demanded they got out of their car. They then drove off in it.
