Barnt Green Spartak 5 Dudley Sports 1

MIDFIELDER Kieron Holland showed he has fully recovered from a knee injury with a devastating show of finishing on Saturday.

Holland, who has missed much of the last few years through injury, bagged four goals to lift injury ravaged Barnt Green.

Manager GJ Singh was pleased with his under strength side's performance.

He said: "Kieron has been playing quite well for us over the last few games, but he was excellent on Saturday.

"But it was a good team performance and everyone worked very hard."

Holland opened the scoring by heading in Delroy Brown's cross, before doubling his side's score with as 25-yard free kick.

A close range finish by Holland made it 3-0, before the midfielder beat the goalkeeper in a one-on-one.

Spartak's shell-shocked opponents pulled goal back, but Rodalph Richards heaped more misery on Dudley by completing the scoring.

The weekend's emphatic result ensures Singh's weakened side go into Saturday's clash against Midland Combination Premier Division leaders Leamington full of confidence (2.45pm kick off).

Spartak are set to be without striker Karrol Hamber, captain Zahoor Suliman, Nasir Hanif and Marvin Gorman for what will be the team's toughest test of the season so far.

Singh said: "Leamington are by far and away the best team in this division.

"It doesn't take a genius to work out they will be hot favourites to beat us.

"But we defeated them at home and we don't go to their place with any fear."
