AWARD winning Droitwich engineering company Barton Cold-Form is looking for a new base.
The firm, which underwent a management buy-out four years ago, is expected to smash the £7m turnover barrier for the first time in its history this year and is looking for bigger premises as a result.
But, as most of the workers are from Droitwich, it wants to stay in the town.
"It is becoming increasingly difficult to run the business efficiently from our existing premises," said chairman Eric Forgan.
"We have opened a new distribution centre, which while relieving the pressure for space, further added to the difficulties by being remote from the existing site in Kidderminster Road."
The company is now working with Parkridge, a well-known development company, to find a new site as well as to redevelop the existing one.
