WEST Midlands Safari Park is expecting a stampede from jobseekers in Worcestershire after it announced 250 vacancies.

The attraction has joined forces with Jobcentre Plus to offer the vacancies in the county.

A "Jobsbus" will be calling into the Bull Ring in Kidderminster town centre on Saturday, January 8 from 10am-2pm and Wednesday, January 12 from 9.30am to 3.30pm.

"We are looking forward to the new season and are thrilled to be working with Jobcentre Plus to promote our vacancies in Worcestershire," said Michelle Link, human resource officer for West Midlands Safari Park.

"We have a wide variety of positions available, including admissions staff, guest services, catering assistants, retail and ride attraction staff.

"We are keen to employ mature applicants and people who delight in giving excellent customer service."

Representatives from the safari park will be aboard the Jobcentre Plus bus to give information about the posts and to issue application forms.

"Anyone who is interested in applying for the vacancies should call us for more details or step aboard the Jobsbus," said Kim Evans, manager of Kidderminster Jobcentre, in Lower Mill Street.
