ENGLAND international and Worcester Warriors skipper Pat Sanderson, along with team colleagues Matt Powell and Paul Sampson, put more than 100 aspiring rugby players through their paces at a special Christmas training session at Malvern RFC last Sunday morning (December 19).
The three premiership rugby stars joined senior coaches from the Spring Lane outfit to put the junior members of the club through a number of challenging, but enlightening skill sessions.
These included rucking and mauling, led by Pat Sanderson, scrum half skills, led by Matt Powell, back play & alignment, led by Paul Sampson and the scrum and the lineout skills led by the club coaches.
After two hours of hard work, the three premiership stars joined the youngsters and their parents in the warmth of the clubhouse to sign autographs and enjoy a pre-Christmas feast.
