EVERY time a Malvern Table Tennis League division three result comes in featuring either of the two Crackpots teams, the top position changes.

Now that Maulers have another four point win to their credit, they are in a similar position as they are equal on points with Manor Park Crackpots but behind on games difference. Crackpots B are just one point ahead and all three have played nine matches.

For Uckinghall against Maulers Peter Quy won three, Pete Nash two and Matt Jones one set with the two Peters winning the doubles but six sets needed extra games and 13 games were only won by two points. Ray Davies picked up two and Don James one for Maulers.

Against Abbeydowne, Maulers did better and Bill Lucas' one singles win was not enough to get a point. Don and Ray both won three and Bill Smith two for Maulers. Malcolm Dalley won all his singles for X-Police and Steve Mulka one but Stephen Lindner won all his singles and the doubles with Ted Cates (one) for Crackpots B and Alan Forsdike won two.

MP Crackpots were in good from against Uckinghall. One set went to four games and three to five and all were won by Crackpots. Peter Quy won two to save the whitewash and earn Uckinghall a point.
