AS THE majority of Worcestershire residents are excitedly ripping wrapping paper or stuffing their turkey on Saturday morning, the Mayor of Worcester will be making a special visit.
Councillor Allah Ditta will be at Worcestershire Royal Hospital, making a tour of the wards, in particular the children's ward, to wish all the staff and patients a merry Christmas.
The Mayor will meet Michael O'Riordan, chairman of Worcestershire NHS Trust, at 10am on Christmas morning, for a guided tour.
