Christmas partygoers were transported to Switzerland, Greece, France and the Falklands by slide shows of plants and gardens.
The Worcestershire group of the National Council for the Conservation of Plants and Gardens also enjoyed a shared American-style supper at the party, which was their last event of 2004.
The programme for 2005 includes a talk on snowdrops and other spring bulbs by John Grimshaw - who is gardens adviser at Colesbourne Park, well known for its collection of snowdrops - on Tuesday, January 11.
A special Bulb Day on March 19 will include two lectures and a visit to Spetchley Park, Worcester, for a conducted tour of the famous display of daffodils.
The ticket-only event is open to non-members. Tickets are available from Hugh Blundstone on 01386 830909.
