A WORCESTERSHIRE company is celebrating a hat-trick of successes after scooping the Champion of the Year award.

Midland Technical Translations (UK) Ltd, in Church Street, Kidderminster, scooped the title for the third year in a row.

The award is given out every year by the Business Getting Results Club, run by local businesses.

The latest award completes a memorable year for Midland Technical Translations, which also secured the Best Start-Up Trophy in the Mustard Business Awards and the Start-Up Business Award from the Chamber of Commerce, Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

The translation company beat more than 50 companies to retain the Champion title.

and staff won a day out in a single-seater race car for their efforts.

Sue Clark, Managing Director at Midland Technical Translations, said winning the award for the third successive year was a superb early Christmas present.

"The awards are aimed at growing businesses and this emphasises that our customers have an efficient and reliable service," she said.

"The BGR Club also has monthly awards and this year we secured the improving team award for communication and for monitoring key performance indicators.

"We will be working just as hard in 2005 to build on our success and hopefully add even more silverware to our trophy cabinet."
