BRITAIN'S biggest independent importer of quad bikes and leisure vehicles has created an extra six jobs by moving to larger premises on the Hartlebury Trading Estate.

Apache Quads, which first relocated to the estate from Droitwich just over a year ago, has moved into purpose-built premises more than twice the size to cope with demand.

The all-new headquarters distribution centre features administration offices, warehousing, workshops and a comprehensive and extended parts operation.

The company's employee levels vary according to the season but it is currently running with a 20-strong staff as it faces its busiest period of the year.

Apache Quads director, Richard Latham, said: "The level of after-sales support has, without doubt, been a major factor."

Apache supplies its 400-plus UK dealer network with a wide range of products.
