The 2005 programme will start on January 14 with "Hidden Talent", when some of the newer members will present a recording of their choice.

The meeting at Holy Innocents Community Centre, Kidderminster, will start at 7.30pm.

Highlights of the coming year include a presentation entitled "Out of Africa" on February 25, by society patron, composer John Joubert.

Live at the Library recitals are planned - the next in the Beryl Chempin Piano Series on March 11, featuring Jill Slater and Geoffrey Pugh, pianist Christopher Langdown on September 23 and the fourth Birmingham Conservatoire Annual Recital on November 18.

Dr Robert Meikle makes a return visit to Holy Innocents on April 8 to celebrate the first performance of Beethoven's "Eroica".

On June 18, Kidderminster singing stars Jonathan Darby and Russell Painter will present their "Summer Serenade" in Kidderminster Town Hall, accompanied by David Morgan.
