A PENSIONER was left distressed after her Kidderminster home was broken into for the second time in a month.
The 70-year-old, from the Stourport Road area, woke up after an afternoon asleep in front of the television to find someone had been in her house and turned all her taps and shower on in the latest incident.
They had also searched her bedroom and made off with her handbag, containing her pension book, keys and purse worth £10.
It is believed they had entered the house through a rear window or door.
PC Paul Noke, of Kidderminster police, said the woman was "extremely distressed".
The previous burglary happened on November 11, when someone kicked open the front door. Although nothing was taken, the pensioner was left very frightened. Money was stolen from her house in 2001.
