AS hundreds of Redditch people look forward to receiving new mobile phones for Christmas, a national charity is asking them to donate their old phones and help others.
Deafblind UK is asking for people's unwanted phones, which will be recycled and the money made used to support the charity's helpline service, which supports thousands of people and their carers each year.
Deafblind people can contact the helpline when they are feeling isolated or vulnerable and if there is a serious problem, the relevant services in that person's area will be contacted.
For recycling envelopes and more information on the scheme, call Hannah Barham on 01733 358 100 or e-mail hannah.barham@deafblind.org.uk
