A NEW guide to Studley has been published and will be posted through every letterbox in the new year.
The Official Studley Guide has been produced by Heritage Guides on behalf of Studley Parish Council for 2005.
The 16-page guide includes a detailed history of the area by village historian Arthur Daniels focusing on the early village as far back as the 12th Century and Peter de Studley, the needle making industries, education, worship and charity.
Also included are useful contact numbers for groups and organisations, business information and a street map.
Meanwhile, the first Studley Village Newsletter produced by parish council chairman Bill McCarthy has been published and delivered.
