THE Worcester County Field Shoot Championships saw a glut of top awards for Evesham archers.

Paul Stead put in an outstanding performance to take the gents' Recurve title with a score of 175.

Worcestershire's top lady - indoors and outdoors - Linda Haines, easily won the ladies event with a score of 170.

Adam Stead, meanwhile, completed a family double by taking the Junior title, while Ian Trout (177) completed the line-up by taking the Compound title.

Trout and Linda Haines made the journey to Clophill Archers' World Status Fita 18 where the latter finished in second place, breaking both club and county records with a score of 553 - behind top British archer Naomi Folkard.

Haines's outdoor efforts see her top the county rankings by quite a high margin and also saw her reach 13th in the national rankings.

Also, her high-class indoor season means that she has entered the high classification of B status.
