IT seems that Robert Woodward took an exception to my references about the sleaze of the last Conservative government (You Say, Saturday, December 4).
So fair enough, his letter cited the cases of some past Labour Party ministers.
I am sure Mr Woodward is aware that the Tory Party has been around far longer than the Labour Party.
If Mr Woodward wishes to delve into the British political past for a tit-for-tat argument, I am sure there's plenty of ammunition.
He also presumed that I must be a Labour Party member, because I choose to offer a counter argument against those who regularly criticise the present government.
I think one should be able to enjoy a glass of wine without being labelled as an alcoholic.
It is becoming increasingly difficult to tell these two political parties apart.
So perhaps now we know whom to blame when this present government runs out of ideas and adopts sleazy ways.
